Hi, I’m LeRhonda, a mom of two, one unfortunately who in September of 2021 was diagnosed with stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma aka Cancer. Mackenzie was diagnosed at 2.5 years old. This is her story, our story, and the journey of being a family to a child with pediatric cancer. This blog is to spread awareness and to help other parents know they are not alone.

Hi, I’m LeRhonda amd this is my beautiful family Devan, Mackenzie and baby Madeleine. I became a full-time mother in 2019. It was my calling, I had never been so happy in my life. 2 years later we welcomed another beautiful little girl to this world. 2 months after Madeleine was born our entire lives were turned upside down.
Mackenzie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Knowing nothing of the world of pediatric oncology Devan and I have now embarked on this forever winding road of lifestyle changes to do everything in our power to help save our daughter and bring further awareness to pediatric oncology. We hope this blog will shed some light into just some of the daily difficulties oncology patients/parents go through in a fight to find a cure
We are trying to learn how to navigate being parents to a beautiful little girl with Cancer. This is the not path we expected but it’s the one we are on and if there is one thing we are known for, its being stubborn and strong. And that’s just what we are going to be. We need to be as strong as our little girl. We need to be kid strong.
